Thymosin Alpha-1 (Ta1) is a 28-amino acid peptide originally isolated from thymic tissue that plays a central role in immune system regulation. Mechanism of Action

Thymosin Alpha-1 activates toll-like receptors (TLR2, TLR9) on dendritic cells, promoting their maturation and antigen presentation. It enhances T-cell, NK cell, and dendritic cell function. It stimulates interferon-alpha and -gamma production, promoting antiviral and anti-tumor immunity. Ta1 also inhibits thymocyte apoptosis and supports T-cell differentiation.
