SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic ERR (Estrogen-Related Receptor) agonist classified as an "exercise mimetic" compound. It activates the same transcriptional programs that exercise triggers, particularly in skeletal muscle, without requiring physical activity. Available in tablet form for oral administration research.
Mechanism of Action
SLU-PP-332 activates all three ERR isoforms (ERRalpha, ERRbeta, ERRgamma), which are key transcription factors that regulate mitochondrial biogenesis, fatty acid oxidation, and oxidative metabolism in muscle. ERRs are normally activated by exercise through PGC-1alpha signaling. SLU-PP-332 bypasses this upstream signal and directly engages the transcriptional machinery.
